Why Fight For Truth in a World That Hates You?

sometimes the thought crosses our minds, “Why battle for truth in a world that hates you?" After all, Jesus was clear to his disciples, If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you. Why bother trying to shape our culture based on arguing for biblical principles? Since the world hates us, why would they listen? Why don’t we just withdraw into our own Christian cocoon, and await Christ’s return? Why fight for spiritual truth in a world that is heading to hell and destruction? This article answers these questions.

How Should Christian Men Respond to Toxic Masculinity?

Toxic masculinity is a term recently made popular in academic and media circles to describe the male aggression that leads to sexual assault, domestic assault, and bullying. In my view, Christians today should be leading the way in the fight against toxic masculinity for the honor of Christ, because the world needs self-giving manhood, and because so many of the solutions to toxic masculinity being offered in our culture are destructive. This episode examines four solutions we need to reject and recognize as harmful to our loved ones. It then reviews the six aspects of heart driven masculinity that were covered earlier in this series.

Called to Be Fierce Protectors and Warriors

One Bible scholar says, To be a man is to stand up and be counted when there is danger or other evil. This episode reveals that indeed, God did design Adam to be the protector/warrior of the garden. So Christian men are called by God to protect those around us, especially our families, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. Understandably, most Christian men struggle to understand what it means to be a spiritual warrior.
