The Battle to Love Our Wives Sacrificially

“Husbands love your wives just as Christ loved the
church and gave himself up for her.”  Eph. 5:25

Surveys show that Christian men identify help with their marriage as their number one spiritual need.  Perhaps that is because our Lord set the bar so high.  We are to love our brides the way he loves his!  The Greek word used for "love" is "agape," which has two parts:  1) giving sacrificially, 2) to meet the needs of another.  If we are to love our wives with agape love, we must win two battles.
